Tech 4 Fashion Briefing 2023
SINDELFINGEN AND HAMBURG
The SPH AG TECH 4 FASHION BRIEFING took place in our new Brandspace in Sindelfingen and at the beautiful Holzhafen in Hamburg. Together with our partners and experts, we gave an optimal overview of the effective possibilities for digitalisation in the fashion industry.
To begin with, Prof. Dr. Christian Kaiser from the Albstadt-Sigmaringen University gave a report on digital product development for textiles and the many advantages and possible applications it brings. To delve deeper into the topic, Ellen Judith Müller gave a presentation on 3D product development in the flat knitwear sector and then handed over to Gerhard Karl from Assyst GmbH, who spoke about the relevance of digital product development in 3D for the fashion industry. Digital product development in 3D helps to optimise fashion companies, from planning to distribution. It allows them to make faster and more accurate decisions by adapting and visualising their designs in real time.
Finally, our SPH experts Armin Kämmerer and Wolfgang Schenke presented the integrated PLM function within our IN:FASHION solution, which optimises all business processes and increases the efficiency, productivity and profitability of fashion companies. Sebastian Schneider presented the Microsoft Power Platform and explained through use cases how companies can use the Microsoft Power Platform to improve efficiency, reduce costs and save time.
The Friday morning was rounded off with a small snack and the visitors had the opportunity to discuss the topics in more detail with our speakers and partners.
The TECH 4 FASHION BRIEFING 2023 provided exclusive insights into the digital transformation of the fashion industry: What does the future of the fashion industry look like and what are the possibilities for digitalisation? The TECH 4 FASHION BRIEFING had the answers to these questions and showed a practical way to successfully master the challenges of the digital future in the fashion industry with the right partners and systems.
