SOCIAL COMMITMENT IS PART OF OUR CORPORATE PHILOSOPHY
For SPH AG, social responsibility is not just a buzzword, but an essential element of our corporate philosophy.
As a successful business, we want to give back to our staff, their families and society. This is why we are committed to good causes on a regular basis and on various levels.
With our social commitment, we support children in need, give financial support to social projects for people with and without disabilities and help people with incurable diseases to forget about their sufferings for a few hours.
WE SUPPORT THE FOLLOWING SOCIAL PROJECTS:
The focus of Aktion Mensch is their commitment to disabled people, children and adolescents. They stand up for the improvement of their living conditions and for achieving inclusion: participation and presence of people with and without disabilities in all areas of life as a matter of course. With their campaigns and actions, Aktion Mensch raises public awareness of inclusion to show that diversity is valuable for everyone living together in society.
The Kindernothilfe (“Supporting children in need”) has taken on the task of promoting the implementation of children’s and young people’s rights. To help children in need means just that: to contribute to implementing their rights. The so-called child rights approach is an appropriate method and determining factor for all projects abroad as well as for their educational campaigns in Germany.
To see the sea, go to a concert of their favourite band or to a football match of their favourite club for the last time – the “Wünschewagen” (Wishes Cars) of the ASB association make it possible. The project was founded in 2014 to make a wish come true for people at the end of their lives. “Wünschewagen” all over Germany drive people to a destination of their dreams. The project is purely voluntary and is funded exclusively by donations. The ride is free for the passengers and an accompanying person. Patron of the project is Franz Müntefering, president of the ASB association.
